Educational path "Gallows Hill" and Gallows
The educational path "Gallows Hill" is devoted to the rituals connected with the punishments of felonies in the early modern period (16th-18th century).
The first stop on this path is located at the town hall and farther leads visitors along partly original route around the church of St. George and the Golden Hill to the gallows. On the route, there are totally 5 information screens, which are also in German and English. The entire route is about one kilometer long, which attracts visitors of Bečov and also families with children. On the path you can see rarely preserved and archeologically explored relics of historical gallows where only a few have survived to the present days in our country.
